Buying a new Mahindra vehicle has become costlier. Mahindra & Mahindra has announced a price hike across its entire SUV and commercial vehicle portfolio, w.e.f. from July 10, 2026. The company will raise prices of its SUV lineup by an average of 2.7%, while commercial vehicles will witness an average increase of 2%. The exact hike will vary depending on the model and variant

The reason behind the price revision is primarily the rise in commodity and material input costs. Increasing expenses related to manufacturing I.e. steel, aluminium, electronic components, logistics, and manufacturing have significantly impacted production costs, prompting Mahindra to revise prices.

The announcement affects some of Mahindra's most popular SUVs, including the Thar, Scorpio N, XUV700, and XUV 3XO. These vehicles continue to enjoy strong demand in the Indian market due to their premium features, commanding road presence, and versatility. Despite periodic price revisions, Mahindra's SUVs have consistently maintained long waiting periods and robust booking numbers, highlighting the brand's strong market position.
